WOYWW #164

A dramatic beginning for this week: on Monday morning I had to call an ambulance for my DH... but everything is now OK! My hubby is fine and also I am slowly recovering :)

I also visited a dear friend of mine, and got some fabric scraps from her - those which are on the left in the pic. There are also some buttons I bought a while ago  (those white ones are old...).

And then I have some BIG wooden reels...

...and (mostly) found objects...

And now I need a good idea :) Maybe something like this:

WOYWW #163 - what a week...

What has happened after last Wednesday? Nothing on my workdesk, as you can see from the pic below.
Last week my DD2 came for a two-day-visit and left on friday. Friday night my DD1 called me and told that Olivia has got a tummy bug. And as always in these cases, the timing was perfect: Her DH had just left for a few days trip and was coming back on Sunday evening! So, on Saturday morning I went there to help them for some hours... and on Sunday evening I got the same disease! 
Don´t know much about the Monday... Tuesday was much better, and now I feel... hmm... as normal as possible ;)
But, after all, here you have an "artistic" pic of my desk ;)

WOYWW #162

Hi again! I´ve been on summer vacation ;)  And what have I done... seen John Fogerty playing at Lakeside Blues Festival here in Järvenpää. Love his music! Also been with my Graddaugter Olivia, who´s now 11 months. And - slowly - making some new dolls...

Here´s my yesterday´s project: a vine trellis for my pipevine. The vine was cut down when we had the exterior wall renovation last autumn, but is now starting to grow again. It took me the whole day to make the trellis: first I had to buy the supplies, then put it together and paint it... first one side, when it was dry, the other side - and then the same again. Now it´s waiting for my DH to come home so that we can put it on its place.
