Pari lauantaita on mennyt mm. polymeerimassahelmiä tehdessä. Itse massa oli minulle kyllä tuttu materiaali jo vuosien takaa - olen tehnyt siitä mm. nappeja. Minulla vain oli aina sellainen ajatus, että kun se kerta on muovia, niin sen tulee näyttääkin muovilta!
Nyt olen päässyt tuosta pakkomielteestä yli - ja hauskuus alkoi...
Now I´ve worked at the Craft Centre of Järvenpää almost two months - and I do not have time for anything! It´s almost too inspiring a working place. For instance, I have spent two saturdays making polymer clay beads. Earlier I have thought, that because it´s plastic, it also should look like plastic! Now I have got from that obsession - and the fun began ...
Eilen teimme kaulanauhoihin helmiä häivytystekniikalla, eli sellaisia liukuvärjättyjä.
Yesterday we made gradient toned beads for necklaces.

Tämän tein jo aiemmin tällä viikolla. Noiden helmien piti olla yhtä turkoosit kuin keskihelmikin, mutta liian kuuma uuni poltti ne vihreiksi!
