Today I have a couple of flea market finds to show you. First a tin box - a tea box, which was far too bright for me. So I painted it with blackboard paint and put an image transfer of Tumble Fish Studio´s elefphant on it... and I can write on it with chalk! And it definitely is not bright anymore :)
Before...
...and after:
And then an other flea market find from last Wednesday. Rubbers, which you can put on your shoes! They are old, but looks like brand new - and they were cheap :)
Have a nice Wednesday!
Fabulous makeover of that tin. I want to try the blackboard paint. It looks so neat.
VastaaPoistaI remember those rubbers. I am 59 and these were worn by some of my parents friends. I think my FIL had some too!
Teelaatikosta tuli upea! Ja hienot ovat nuo jalkineesikin.
VastaaPoistaGreat bargains Tuire, now I think you should alter the overshoes too. They would look good matching the tin you did a makeover on,
VastaaPoistaThanks for sharing - Hugs, neet xx #27

Hurmaavaksi teit sinun rasian ja nuo kumisaappaat on söpöt.
VastaaPoistafab finds... it's great to recycle and upcycle these tresaures which could have ended as trash. Love the bits and bobs in your previous post too.
VastaaPoistaYou'd love it here rummaging in charity shops and flea markets and I'd probably love it there!

Wow, good finds there, Tuire - the tin looks much better now! Like the elephant logo on the grey background. And you're right about age - I just get on with it and celebrate each day!!

VastaaPoistaViimeksi äidilläni olen nähnyt tuollaiset ihanat päällyskengät, kuten niitä nimitettiin, ja isosisko pisti ne korkkareiden päälle kun lähti kellohameessa tanssimaan ja me pikkutytöt katselimme siskokaunotarta silmät suittirenkaina :)
VastaaPoistaVoi niitä aikoja.
