My workdesk as full of stuff as usual... I just got my art journal pages finished, and everything I needed is still on my table - well, don´t believe my excuse - it looks always like that :D
Now I´m covering the lids of glass jars with gesso and printed pics. Then a bit of Distress ink and decoupage lacquer to make the final touch.
And here are those art journal pages. On the first page there are some predictions for the year 2012 and further. And on the other page you can see how "round" our globe really is! I´m also telling about unexplained noises that have been reported across the globe, as well as increased amounts of UFO reports.
Tässä sitten ne art journal sivut.
To end up with my orchid case next to my desk :)
Lopuksi orkidealasikko työpöytäni vieressä :)

I am in awe of the neatness and spacing of your handwritten text - it is truly amazing, it almost looks printed! I love the way you use text as such a prominent part of your artwork, it makes a great patterns...and I love patterns!! The face you've used on your jar lids and elsewhere is very serene, I like her a lot :)

Your writing is so neat and it really makes your journal pages seem all the more "artsy." And thank you for sharing your spot of greenery too. The jars with faces rather give me the willies though. I don't think I want my jars looking at me.
VastaaPoistaI really, really like those jar lids you created they are quite wonderful! Happy WOYWW #23 ~Robin Panzer Art Studio 33

I love your journal pages, they are fabulous and everyone seems to be repurposing jars this week - love the idea of faces on the lids!!
VastaaPoistaInteresting topics for your journal, I saw a "real" world map once and it was very interesting with all the countries represented at the same scale so you truly got the correct sense of scale. Love the orchid case, I think I need one of those to coax mine back into flower again.

Hienoja purkkeja ja sivuja. Mä olen tässä kahden vaiheilla, että keräänkö taas tätä roinaa tähän nurkkaan...pakottava tarve olis tehdä kaikkea, eikä tarttis ostaa juuri mitään, kun kellarissa on kassikaupalla tarvikkeita. Ärsyttää vaan sotkut...mutta toisaalta, mulla on Ikean expedit hylly nyt johon saan paremmpin järjesteyytä tavarat...kunhan kävin täällä avautumassA :)
VastaaPoistaWOW love the journal pages and the orchids are beautiful x Loux
