WOYWW - A DOONE DOLLY

Nothing new ON my workdesk, but something very special near it!!!
Some days ago I got a packet with the text: "My name is Tarlewlar, I am afraid of almost everything, please love me..."

There was also a beautiful letter with it...

And the poor thing herself - she definitely have had a terrible ride, ´cause the box is a bit broken...
But YES, I do love her very much!!! Thank you so, so much Doone!

BIA-KIRJA/BOOK

Tein tyttärelleni syntymäpäivälahjaksi Bind-it-all kirjasen vanhoista kirjankansista ja erilaisista papereista.

I made a Bind-it-all booklet to my daughter as a birthday present. I used old book covers and different kind of papers.

Ja pieniä yllätyksiä siskolta...

And small surprises from her sister...

TIN CASE - PELTISALKKU

So - it seems to be thursday, and no WOYWW this week! This may be WDTWG = Where Did The Wednesday Go! But here is the tin case, with which I worked last week. More me than the "Tommy Girl" it was!

And a card to Koukussa Kortteihin challenge. Text is from the Maya indian´s Popol Vuh epic. The eye is drawn with Inktence pencils.

Kortti on Koukussa Kortteihin Ilmatteeks-haasteeseen. Teksti on Maya intiaanien Popol Vuh eepoksesta. Silmä on piirretty Inktense kynillä.

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 89

My desk - full of everything, as always :)
Now I´m working on this tin case I bought from a flea market. I didn´t feel quite like Tommy Girl, so I have to do something... You´ll see later!

What I did with the paper I had last week you can see here. I used it as a background for my ATC.
It belongs to my Lost-and-Found challenge on Half Way Storage blog. I made the challenge for myself, but anyone can participate! Every other week you have also possibility to win an extra card I have made! The rules are here - first in Finnish and then in English.

The other pic here shows the case as it was when I bought it.

This posting belongs to WOYWW hosted by Julia at Stamping Ground. There you can find more workdesks to visit! Have a nice wednesday!

What's On Your Workdesk? Wednesday 88

Hi all WYOWWers! The Mess again! On the left down corner is a paper I found yesterday when visiting my mother. The paper was in snow and completely wet. So why I took it? I need it for my Lost-and-Found challenge which takes place on my othet blog, Half Way Storage. The challenge will run throughout the year and is open to anyone! There is also a prize card every other week!

I have had problems with my computer/browser (it´s far too old...) and therefore I also had problems when visiting your blogs! There are some blogs where I even can´t get in, and some others stuck when I try to leave a comment. Please be patient - I´m saving for a new computer!!!

Have a nice week and visit Julia´s Stamping Ground for more desks!

SteamPunk Inspired

This is my entry to the Sunday Postcard Art challenge with the steampunk theme. First I like to show you the backgroung. The picture and text is from an old school book from the year 1923. The text is about steam machines. It´s coloured with Distress Inks.

And here is the card. I had a good time making it and I spent almost the whole sunday with this card! Hope you like it!
It´s made mainly with image transfer technique.

SARAH & CO

Pari ATCtä Koukussa Kortteihin haasteeseen "Ilmatteeks". Aiheena oli käyttää ilmaisia netistä löytyviä kuvia. Nämä kuvat löytyvät täältä.
Taustassa John Fogertyn lyriikkaa.

A couple of ATCs for Koukussa Kortteihin challenge "Ilmatteeks" (=for Free). Theme was to use free pics from web. These pics are from here!
