HAPPY HALLOWEEN

I missed last week´s WOYWW because of the renovation. The wall next to my computer desk was repaired and I had to unplug the computer...

Here is a little broken birdie which I dressed for Halloween! Before and after.

Tässä olisi nyt pieni rikkinäinen lintunen, jonka puin Halloweenia varten! Ennen ja jälkeen.

WOYWW 124 - in the middle of disaster

This is an explanation why you have not heard about me for a while. And the question for this week is: WHERE is my workdesk???

Tässä selitys, miksi minusta ei ole kuulunut mitään vähään aikaan. Tämän viikon kysymys onkin: MISSÄ on työpöytäni???

WOYWW 122 - BIG MESS

Not a busy desk - I can´t do anything here now! I had to take everything down from my shelves, because there are men ripping panels from the wall outside... otherwise all stuff will fall down. We are getting new panels on the walls and now there are men at work 12h a day - from 7 am to 7 pm. Not a single moment of peace!

I will visit you later - now I´m going to see little Olivia and help her mother with their renovations :)

Tämä ei kuvasta kiirettä - täällä ei nyt pysty tekemään mitään! Piti ottaa hyllyiltä alas kaikki putoamisvaarassa oleva tavara. Ulkopuolella on miehiä repimässä lautoja seinistä. Meille laitetaan uudet verhoukset ulkoseiniin ja siellä on ukkoa 12 tuntia päivässä - aamuseitsemästä iltaseitsemään. Ei hetken rauhaa!

Kohta lähden katsomaan pikku Oliviaa ja auttamaan äitiään oman remonttinsa kanssa :)

I seem to have the right picture, ´cause Julia´s theme for this week is 'what isn't on your work desk' ;)
I have made ATCs for my Lost & Found-challenge. I have been late with my own challenge because of everything that has happened during the summer. But now I've done all the missing cards, and you can see them HERE.

Ja välttääkseni kammottavan Google-kääntäjän, sama suomeksi:
Julialla näkyy olevan tällä viikolla aiheena ´mitä ei ole työpöydälläsi´ ja tämä kuva sopii siihen hyvin! Olen tehnyt kortteja Lost & Found-haasteeseeni. Kaiken sen takia, mitä kesällä on tapahtunut, olen ollut myöhässä omasta haasteestani, mutta nyt kaikki puuttuvat kortit on tehty, ja näet ne TÄÄLLÄ!

On monday arrived a lovely packet from Jo! It´s a fabric of which you can make an abc-book. It´s for my granddaughter Olivia :) Here you can see only half of the fabric, but there is also the sweet card, which came with the packet!

WOYWW 120

On my desk is now a huge pile of photographs. Mostly landscape images - kind of press photos... I got them from a friend, who was about to throw them away. Don´t know yet what to do with them, but they were too good to be destroyed!

Sorry, I forgot to take a pic of the baby card I was making last week! But here you can see the crocheted blanket I made to the baby as a christening present. Below you can see the name she was given! And a couple of pics from sunday.

Työpöydälläni on nyt iso pino valokuvia. Enimmäkseen maisemakuvia - jonkinlaisia lehtikuvia... Sain ne yhdeltä tutulta, joka oli heittämässä niitä pois. En kyllä tiedä vielä, mitä niillä teen, mutta ne olivat kuitenkin liian hyviä tuhottavaksi!

Sorry, unohdin sitten ottaa kuvan siitä vauvakortista, jonka tein viime viikolla. Tässä on kuitenkin kuva virkatusta peitteestä, jonka tein ristiäislahjaksi. Alempaa näet, minkä nimen vauva sai! Ja parit kuvat sunnuntailta.

OLIVIA

Sunnuntaina sai tyttärentyttäreni "Pähkinä" ihan oikean nimensä! Tytöstä tuli Olivia Alexis Isabella. Hän otti juhlansa todella rauhallisesti - nimen saatuaan nukahti tyytyväisenä.

On sunday my granddaughter "Walnut" got her real name! She became Olivia Alexis Isabella. She took the whole celebration really peaceful - after getting her name, she fell asleep pleased.

WOYWW 119

So, it´s wednesday again, and time for WOYWW on Julia´s Stamping Ground!

I´m going to make a baby card about these. "Pähkinä" (=walnut) gets her real name next sunday! No idea what it could be...

Not much has happened with my clean-up project... although, besides the two desks, I also have found the floor :)

WOYWW 118 - greetings from disaster part II

Now I´m in time on wednesday! I have cleaned and arraged my working room the whole week. This is how it is now - still much more to do, but I have found two desks! Books in the closet are for crafting - before they were on the floor... I've also thrown out a lot.

EXTREME CLEAN-UP -greetings from disaster

I was going to participate this week´s WOYWW at Julia´s Stamping Ground... and found out that today is already thursday!
Yesterday I realized that my working room is so full of everything, that it´s impossible to do anything there!!! ...except to clean up it!
I started yesterday, and I hope that next week I can show you a well - or at least a bit better - organized crafting place.

Niin, siis terveiset katastrofin keskeltä! Eilen tajusin, että työhuone on nyt siinä pisteessä, että siellä ei pysty tekemään yhtikäs mitään!
Siivous on aloitettu eilen - osa kamoista on väliaikaisesti toisessa huoneessa - ja toivon, että ensi viikolla olisi näyttää kuvia viihtyisästä askartelutilasta!

BABY "Pähkinä"

Cassu tuolla kyseli vauvakuvia... tässä pari kuvaa neidistä viiden päivän ikäisenä. Huomennahan tulee jo kolme viikkoa täyteen! Tyttö on vielä toistaiseksi "Pähkinä".
Ja minä siis onnesta sekaisin oleva isoäiti!

WOYWW #116

Hello everyone! Last week I wasn´t at home, but arranging my Mother´s funeral. The benediction took place on thursday. Hard week!
Otherwise, the Baby has been a real blessing in the middle of all this! It´s great to be Granny!

On my workdesk is a pile of ATCs. They are for my Lost & Found challenge, which is going on on my Half Way Storage-blog. In fact, I´m a couple of weeks late, and therefor it is a whole pile of cards!!!
And yesterday I bought Derwent´s Inktense Blocks. I love the Inktense pencils, and I´m sure i will love these, too!

WOYWW #114 - BALANCE of the UNIVERSE

Is it really three weeks after my last posting!? No wonder - so much has happened!
Three weeks ago I told I was going to see my mother. Some of you knew she was seriously ill. She told me then, that she´s not able to live at home anymore, and we called an ambulance to take her to the hospital. Ten days later she passed away, peacefully while sleeping.
And ten days from that, yesterday, my elder daughter got a baby girl! There was a bit dramatics, but now both baby and mother are well - and the father too, I hope!
So, I have to think that everything´s in perfect balance in the universe!

Tomorrow I´m going to leave for a short trip to Stockholm, Sweden, with my husband. I really need it now!
